Welcome to the Unusual Suspects! The original Unclub.
The original group came together in 2006 and slowly grew as other hams heard and enjoyed the friendly banter and joined in the discussions.. Then in late 2006 the idea for an antenna design and construction project came along, and the Unusual Suspects were founded. We are not a club in the normal sense of the word, have no real membership, we are individuals who come together for common interest and activities. Our motto is the more the merrier and everyone is welcome to join the Unclub. |

Who are the Unusual Suspects? We are a group of like minded Amateur radio operators who came together from an original group of 5 hams that enjoyed friendly conversation and shared common interest from Shooting Sports and gun collecting, Hunting, Performance Automobiles, Flying and of course Amateur Radio. |

The Unusual Suspects are proud sponors of the following nets. Girl Talk: For the ladies only. Each and every thursday at 7:pm on our repeater: 443.025 + PL 82.5 Talk 52: This is to promote Simplex Operation. Each Monday evening at 7:pm on 146.520 Simplex. Daily Operations: 146.520 Simplex. We are active all day long. With a morning round table from 5:30 am to 8:am daily. 223.500 Simplex: Many of us monitor this freq daily and always listen for a new contact. Daily conversations. 443.025 + PL 82.5: Many of us monitor this freq daily, primary use when we are mobil to mobil out of range on simplex. 50.130 Simplex: This is monitored by a large number of us who work to promote 6 meter activity. |

We are an Unclub. We have NO officers and no meetings, no dues. We do meet weekly for breakfast and once a month hold a Meet & Greet with a swap meet. Each Friday: 7:30 am to 8:30 {Las Palapas {in Forum}} 1st Saturday of each month: 8:30 to 10:am (Breakfast/Swap meet} Location: Lubys 18206 Blanco Rd, San Antonio, TX 78258 Corner of Blanco and 1604 |
