BIO: After 40 years of raising a family, I finally met my soulmate, Eddie (K1EPZ), more commonly known as "Poor Ole Eddie" in the Austin area, and we obtained our Ham licenses in 2007. My previous callsign was KZ3SRC I am active in the music scene and play piano, accordian, keyboards and rhythm mandolin, as well as doing vocals. I enjoy almost all types of music, but specifically bluegrass, cowboy country and blues. We jam almost every Thursday, Friday and Sunday and are always looking for something to do on the other nights of the week. Between the two of us we currently have 19 grandchildren, and don't seem to have a problem staying busy with one thing or another. Our kids complain that they can't keep us with us. I personally don't see that as being a problem . . . I am also active in the "hotrod" scene. I am the Web Administrator - Historian for the San Antonio Gear Grinders. Our web-site is: www.geargrinderssanantonio.com. My husband and I have a 23 T-Bucket that he built from the ground up. We are currently in the process of restoring it. We currently monitor mostly two meters at 146.940 frequency in the Austin - Cedar Creek, Texas area. Cell phone for contact is: 512-785-6093 E-mail is: scastille@austin.rr.com Live today as if it's the last day of your life . . . 73's to all! |
