BIO: Given name is Eddie, however on the Austin, TX. two meter 09 frequency I will be forever known as "Poor Ole Eddie" ! Long story there, if you're interested contact Robert KD5HOP, but make sure you're wearing your boots! I am a 65+ year old, retired, auto/electronics technician After 40 years of raising a family, I finally was able to realize one of my lifelong dreams in obtaining my Ham license. After meeting my soulmate, Sunny (K5LUV), we obtained our Ham licenses in 2007. I am active in the music scene and play standup and electric bass, enjoying almost all types of music, but specifically bluegrass, cowboy country and blues. We jam almost every Thursday and Friday night and are always looking for something to do on the other nights of the week. I am also active in the "hotrod" scene. I have been a member of the San Antonio Gear Grinders hotrod car club since the late 60s. I have a 23 T-Bucket that I built from the ground up. I am currently in the process of restoring it again |
